The E8106 is a glass Redox combination electrode with a refillable Ag/AgCl reference and platinum rod tip.

It is Ideal for general REDOX applications in the laboratory . The E8106 does not require a separate reference electrode and is compatible with all pH and mV meters with a BNC socket.

With a 12mm glass body and a refilling aperture the E8106 has a low cost of ownership. The ceramic frit junction provides good electrolyte flow and stable Redox results. The Platinum Rod is exposed which provides a fast response and easy cleaning.

The E8106 electrode comes complete with a 1 metre fixed cable and a BNC connector. This means the electrode is compatible with all EDT pH meters and most modern alternatives.

The common use is reading mV to =/- 1 mV. The perfect meter for such applications is the GP353. However for greater flexibility and allowing direct concentration calibration the DR359TX is more suitable providing 0.1 mV resolution and up to 5 point calibration.

Calibration can performed using REDOX solutions or standards of the reacting species being monitored. Many REDOX measurements are made to follow changes and as such are relative and not absolute.
