This data kit is required to enable data stored in the
internal memory on the QP451,481,458 and SALCON II instruments to be downloaded
directly into Microsoft Excel for manipulation, storage or printing.
The kit comprises a Micro USB to USB2 cable and a Flash
drive containing the EDT directION Data Wizard. Without the Data Wizard it is
not possible to extract data from the internal memory files*.
The QP instruments outputs csv data files therefore when
selecting the destination in Excel open the “Excel Workbook” dropdown menu and
select CSV(Comma Delimited).csv option.
*Files can be viewed and deleted on QP instruments without
the data wizard.
